THANK YOU FOR A GREAT 2023!

WISHING YOU A MERYY CHRISTMAS!

Well, it’s been another busy and exciting year. From becoming a fully fledged member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, exhibiting at the Royal Academy of Arts, London and being on the cover/featured in the Contemporary Collage Magazine, I am grateful for every opportunity to share my work in 2023.

I would like to thank everyone for their continued support here and at Elephantstones Gallery, it really means the world!

A special thanks to:

An extra special thank you must go to Aga - @_agazart_ for her kindness and generosity. Aga’s work is a constant source of inspiration alongside the hard work she puts in to running @polaroidscollageclub. Thank you for providing a platform for collage artists.

I am now clocking off for Christmas and the Eve Illustration Print Shop is closed until the new year. Have a magical holiday and wishing you a happy 2024.

Please note: You can still order from the Eve Illustration Print Shop, but orders will not ship until I return to work on the 8th January 2024.

Category : Portrait Single Image

Delighted to have been highly commended in the ‘Portrait’ category of this years Contemporary Collage Magazine awards!

Here’s what CC. had to say:

‘We’ve had an amazing year for submissions and our judges have been deliberating long and hard to choose our winners. Thank you to everyone who entered and to our incredible judging panel for helping us to chose our incredible winners. The standard was so high that our judges felt that, in some categories, more than one artist was deserving of being a winner, and we agreed. So, here they are…congratulations to all recognised artists.’

www.contemporarycollagemagazine.com

After winning the ‘Digital Memory’ category of the Contemporary Collage Awards 2022, I was invited to be interviewed and featured in an issue of the Contemporary Collage Magazine.

Les and Molly, a father and daughter duo, were wonderful and it was a pleasure chatting and organising the feature. Thank you to them both for all their hard work.

When the issue was released, I was very happy and surprised to see that my artwork was used for the cover - my first ever!

“Issue #25 is packed full of exciting interviews and features with:

Eve Bridges
Anthony Zinonos
Christian Gastaldi
Romain Pouyau
and Robert Rauschenberg

PLUS some really fantastic submissions to our 3rd Collage_This Challenge and our Animal Theme of the Month. We also have the first installment of our Collaboration Challenge along with some exciting collage news, Urban Collage Collabs, and so much more!"

MONOCHROMATIC - A PHOTO TROUVÉE MAGAZINE EXHIBITION!

MONOCHROMATIC
PHOTO TROUVÉE MAGAZINE

www.phototrouveemagazine.com
13th September - 15th October 2023

I am delighted to have been selected to exhibit in Photo Trouvée Magazines latest virtual exhibition.

“Monochromatic” is a virtual exhibition that explores the profound interplay between memory, emotions and nostalgia through the monochromatic lens. The works featured primarily use black and white imagery which is then altered or embellished by a single color varying in  lightness and saturation. Vibrant shades of blue may elicit the recollection of an endless expanse of sky or evoke cherished seaside memories, while gentle tones of sepia might awaken the charm of bygone eras, immortalizing ephemeral moments in time. Nostalgia acts as a tender muse, evoking a longing for the irretrievable moments that have shaped us. Through the visual language of monochromaticity, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to delve into these complex realms of emotions. This exhibition, curated in the order of the rainbow, invites viewers to embark on a contemplative and visually pleasing journey exploring the works of 23 contemporary artists inspired by found and family photographs.
